Yarmouk College
It is with great pride and honor that I serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yarmouk College, established through the combined efforts of distinguished professors across various medical specializations and colleagues at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Sudan. We set out, with God's blessing, to serve this dear nation and contribute with all its people to its building, progress, and development — through preparing qualified medical professionals capable of providing the best medical services across various specializations.
It is well known that economic development in any country cannot rise without human development, which provides the essential foundation — human capability. The human being is the pillar of any progress and advancement, and this can only be achieved through maintaining a health standard that builds a sound individual capable of giving and innovation, as the Arabic proverb says: a sound mind in a sound body.
We therefore set our sights on making Yarmouk College a beacon of knowledge and science, contributing alongside Sudanese universities and medical institutions to elevate the health situation in Sudan, which faces a growing need for doctors, dentists, pharmacists, and intermediate medical personnel in medical laboratory sciences and dental technology.
Despite decades of continuous work to improve medical services and health conditions, Sudan still suffers from a severe shortage of physicians and medical specialists. We consider it a great honor to contribute to these noble goals through Yarmouk College, and we hope the college receives full support from ministry officials, its distinguished faculty, and its outstanding students to fulfil its noble humanitarian mission with God's help.
